Maintenance programs post TMS treatment will differ patient to patient and depend on your circumstances and treating doctor recommendations. You and your treating team may choose other maintenance strategies which could include a change in your medication and other interventions such as therapy.
Generally maintenance involves a session a week which may be able to be covered under your Private Health Insurance, however Medicare also reimburse a retreatment after 4 months if you responded to TMS but the effects wear off.
