Most (but not all) patients remain on medication such as antidepressants throughout TMS treatment.
For the duration of TMS treatment we recommend you maintain your existing medication regime, as changing your medication during treatment may result in changing symptoms and our doctors will be unsure if it is due to your medication changes or the TMS. Changing your medication may also affect the TMS treatment dose.
All patients' medications will be reviewed by a psychiatrist for safety prior to starting TMS treatment.
